The arrival of the 2022 Chinese New Year marks the start of the Year of the Tiger, celebrated by people all over the world. The tiger is famed as the king of all beasts in China. What's more, tigers have been represented in art is many different ways across centuries. Feared and respected in equal measure, they have been used as symbols of power in Asian art.
